A wise man was consulted to see the future of the child. “The prince will be King of kings if he wants to rule. If he chooses a religious life then he will become the Wisest — the Buddha.” The child’s name was chosen following a prophecy by the wise who predicted he would become either a great king or a great religious leader. He is called Siddhartha, “He who achieves his goal”.
